That's the problem, if I'm paying that much for the rifle I should get a free Pelican or some other higher end case. A company like DT should be able to work out a deal where they can have Pelican or whoever sell them cases in volume at deep discounts. Pretty sure the company has already recouped their R&D costs from preorders, especially after their jewey price hikes, so it's not like them spending $50 to give customers a free case is gonna hurt their bottom line too much.

I really just wish it was of the stoner direct impingement type instead of gay pistons although I know that part of the reason it is piston is because DI needs a buffer tube but I feel like they could engineer around that and then have a softer shooting gun like a DI gun. DI blows dirt out of the ejection port if its there.

Does the bolt carrier "ride" on aluminum rail or are those steal? My understanding has always been that aluminum doesnt work well with lube? And does the ar-15 have steal riding on aluminum, but thats circular right?
