Imagine the apocalypse happened. Fallout-alike or plain zombie apocalypse - doesn't matter, but you miraculously survived. Before it, you stashed 2 guns for survival. What they will be? You can choose any 2 guns, you got to be sure they will be able to feed and defend you for at least decade with minimal service.
What an original, thought provoking thread,OP

>>35155588
Oh, it's a TLR3. I got it because you can get them without needing an adapter for the USP. It's 125 lumens.

My 10/22 takedown w/ 2-7x scope with 1-2k rounds of ammo.
My SP2022 in 9mm with 5 loaded mags and two more boxes of 9mm
I'd stash my 357 J-frame somewhere in my pack, too, with a box of magnums if we're being honest.
22lr for hunting and some defense work. Main reason is takedown size and ability to carry possible lifetime supply of ammo.
SP2022 for personal defense - I know it'll last a decade with minimal maintenance because mine already has.
My model 60 3" would be good as it is minimal extra to carry if I need some high power rounds for something, or if I can scavange some 38 at some point later.
>>35155744
On body and quickly accessible. Sometimes you'll put your rifle down to do shit. Real life isn't carry 200 lbs everywhere fallout.

Revolvers and break-actions (and break-action revolvers) are king in post-civilization.
>>35155932
I was here for a previous thread where people were saying how they'd take 1000s of rounds of .308 at almost 20lbs per 100 rounds.
>>35155946
Where can I go that is awash in 7.62x25 and grenades? I want to visit this magical place.
>>35155156
Poorfag earpro. If you've got money for the rest of that crap, get a nice pair of electricals.
>>35156191
yeah some people have vehicles because they aren't poorfags.
>>35155847
I know but if Im fighting, I never want to have a pistol over a rifle ever. this way I can now arm someone else instead of just having a sidearm
>>35155156
What sidearm is that? I see it a lot on /k/ and it seems to be the go to.
>>35156230
This one was one of the "grab stuff before you get teleported" or some fuckery. It was clear they wouldn't have it in their vehicles, people just didn't do the math or haveguns.
>>35154623
These threads are so dumb. The answer is you pick anything chambered in the service calibers of your local LE and country's military, because those vaults will be cracked open and become the new currency. If you picked something else, you're wrong.
An over under 12 gauge. 22 (or 9mm if that's possible), and the traditional innawoods gun, the SKS, or an AR if I ever get to buying one.
>you will never be a lone agent caught in a conflict between post apocalyptic warlords
>you will never be ambushed by a gang of his men, kill most of them but be badly wounded
>you will never be rescued by this sweet qt who brings you back to her brother&hers hideout
>you will never have you nurse you back to health in the basement of an old concrete building
>you will never listen to her singing sweet songs in her Russian accent to you to help you sleep
>you will never hear her worried about her brother, out scavenging for a week now
>you will never eat the warm broth she makes for you
>you will never hear her talk about how lonely she is
>you will never have her hold your hand, her skin an island of warmth in the cold drafty room
>she will never whisper sweet comforting things into your ear as she changes your bandages
>she will never help you learn to walk again
>you will never grow to love her
Why even fucking live. Thinking about this shit is the only thing that's gotten me to sleep the past 2 weeks.
>>35154623
>single trigger
>no exposed hammers
You get two fucking shots with a double barrel, why also make it more likely to break down?
>>35156300
it's a usp tactical dude. you can literally read it on the side of the slide.
>>35156405
Yeah, they'll be cracked open and looted... by the service members and cops.
