So /k/, I have a question. How big of a bomb would we need to drop into the eye of a CATV hurricane like Irma to disrupt it's momentum and stop it? Would it have to be a nuke or would something smaller do the job?

Also what would be your gun of choice for your journey through deserted towns to loot, pillage, and rape what you want and become criminal scum while LEOs wouldn't be able to really stop you?
>>

If I had to guess id say at least 200 megatons. Maybe half a gigaton.
Honestly this would be cheaper than all the damage these hurricanes cause and with An ultra efficient 3 stage bomb not much fallout would be made. Most would sink into the ocean.

I wonder how much plutonium such a bomb would use. My only concern would be using up a lot of or all of our limited supply of plutonium and uranium just to disrupt storms.

Would it be feasible at all to carry just a scoped bolt action rifle and a sidearm?
>>
>>35133952
Yeah but new advances would be made eventually. And bombs would be a lot cheaper. And if it was a government thinking other contracted and pay someone to do it or spin taxpayer money on it. And anti storm tax. Also is there a better alternative than using bombs
>>
>>35133980
Sure I don't see why not. It's sort of a shtf scenario anyways. So a primary and a secondary wouldn't be out of the question.

It'd be much more efficient to destroy the weather machines the Jews use to create the storms
>>
>>35134040
In a hypothetical situation like that I wouldn't know if I'd be outgunned with just those two weapons. I figure marksmanship and strategic planning and location would matter more but I wouldn't want to carry 8 guns and get shot in the back and have it all go to nothing.

Im not so sure a bomb would actually stop it. I get that a change in heat distribution would effect the movement of air, but I'm pretty sure you would get a better effect from simply burning a massive amount of combustables. Then again, Im not expert on hurricanes.

If detonating something in it as it were developing and much smaller would help it would need to be as bid and nuclear or as close to civilization.

They weren't actually doing it, I don't think, but one guy made a kikebook event called "shoot at hurricane irma" as a joke and people thought it was hilarious.

A digital Skinner box run by an evil globalist douchenozzle who considers its users to all be "dumb fucks" and heavily censors everything they say over it to suit his agenda without telling them. Despite this it is still extremely popular and holds more political power than most States. Which is why the ceo is running for president, and why he'll probably win. When he does, he'll probably destroy the United States.

from KKCD:

>This question gets submitted a lot.
It turns out the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration—the agency which runs the National Hurricane Center—gets it a lot, too. In fact, they’re asked about it so often that they’ve published a response.
I recommend you read the whole thing, but I think the last sentence of the first paragraph says it all:

“Needless to say, this is not a good idea.”

It makes me happy that an arm of the US government has, in some official capacity, issued an opinion on the subject of firing nuclear missiles into hurricanes.
>>
>>35133933
wait

are you actually suggesting to throw a fucking thermonuclear bomb inside a system that craves for hot water and hot winds?

>Area of 5 psi blast from largest bomb ever designed (USSR Tsar Bomba, 100Mt): ~1000 square miles
>Area of Hurricane Irma: ~248,573 square miles (almost the size of Texas)

It doesn't fucking matter if you drop a 300 Kt or a 300 Mt bomb on it, at best it will do fuck-all, worst case scenario you'll just make it stronger by feeding it more hot air.
