Because the only range worth a shit that's not a 3 hour drive has been closed forever so they can upgrade it, because some church on the other side of the hill claims they found bullets in their parking lot. I usually don't shoot my K31 or vz.58 often because I don't have a lot of 7.5x55 (because I don't have too many opportunities to shoot it, thus not justifying buying more cases of GP11), and I hate cleaning corrosive after, respectively.

I own two Korths, and this is without a doubt the nicest. This one seldomly gets shot. I just take it out every once in a while, wipe it down with an oily rag, and apply oil to the grip.

Every gun I own. "They" say you gotta shoot often to hone your skills.

Apparently 4 years as a marine grunt taught me enough. I bag a deer every year, usually 1 shot. Sometimes they don't die, you gotta slit their throat. Only happened once to myself. But last year a buddy of mine spined one, so it was still twitching. It's horrible. That time I just shot it in the head.

But the purpose of my post is it's like riding a bike, once you got it, you got it. Don't need to spend a thousand dollars worth of ammo. Unless you truly enjoy it.

Poor, 1 indoor range in town but the owner is a massive faggot, all the outdoor ranges within 2 hours are mostly shit or get closed for fire season, and the indoor ranges are fucking terrible. And on top of that all the best guns use expensive ammo.

As a matter of fact, I do also own a Manurhin. I had the chance to buy all of them on the cheap over the course of a year, so why not. The 6 inch Korth was only 650 dollar, and is in the worst condition. So out of the two Korths, that's the one I shoot the most.

I haven't shot my 1934 Mosin 91/30 and my Bulgarian Makarov in a while. All of my recent shooting has been done with my revolvers, for practice.

They're mostly collectables to me, although I would like to practice with my Mosin more since it's the only rifle I own.

Unfortunately, I don't have any 7.62x54R since I haven't gotten around to buying any recently.

I do have an opened, but unused, spam can of surplus 7.62x54R; but I no longer shoot corrosive ammo, and I'm keeping the can solely for an emergency scenario.

I've been doing that since 2013. I am working out a deal to have a reproduction mainspring made with which I will try shooting this pistol. It has the capability to be a wonderful target pistol, provided I'm not constantly worrying about breaking it.

SACM Mle.1935A. This one suffers from the same ammo availability issues as the Mannlicher but parts are somewhat readily available. I made up about 100 cases but every time I shoot this pistol a few of the empties disappear thanks to its rather energetic ejection. Since cases have to be made by trimming .32 S&W Long, turning down the rim and cutting an extractor groove, it's painful to see them vanish.

I rarely shoot this Walther P38 as it was given to me by my late grandfather. He took it from a surrendering German officer in January, 1945 near Bastogne. I shot it for several years after I received it but eventually bought a P1 to retire this one from active duty to assuage my fears of breaking or losing an original part such as the slide or loaded chamber indicator cover. The US M1916 holster seen here is what he carried this pistol in for the remainder of the war.
