They're a total grab bag of quality. Make sure you research the product you are buying before you buy it.

I own the Urban Go plate carrier and a couple pouches I exercise/roll around in (because I'm a crazy prepper) and it's held up a lot better than anticipated, while the gloves I bought with it blew out in a day.

If getting just an Eastern style chest rig just get Russian or Chinese milsurp, you can get proven quality instead of playing the Condor lottery.

i use one of those for airsoft, you might want to put some buckles on the waist straps since the flat strips of cloth are impossible to untie.

this guy condors. Ive got the one in ops pic and its perfectly serviceable.The material isnt the greatest, their molle stitching (on stuff that has it) is uneven, and their QC is abysmal. But for $30 bucks you could do a helluva lot worse.

I had that one, was great as a first chest rig. I ended up selling it but it worked for what I did with it.

Eagle RRV if you can find one. Most people I see are asking $200+ for them. Local place had a dozen or so in for $100.

In all honesty you're better off getting a plate carrier at that point.

Looks cool, made for AK size mags, and can fit pretty much anything. I use foam spacers to fit AR/FAL mags.

I own one of these but am dissatisfied with the plastic buckle that inevitably sits where the stock needs to contact your shoulder. Any fixes? Or am I just using it wrong?

IDK, tighten the end on the front and loosen the end on your back. Should bring the pad to where your butt sits. I've gotten used to having shit in my shoulder when I shoulder a rifle, and the p 83 isnt as bad as the flak I used to wear. I think the SADF rig would be more comfortable as an H rather than X arrangement. I might sew up a piece of webbing as an adapter some day.
