Is your buffer tube improperly machined?

Its rare, but sometimes you get a buffer tube where it can be too narrow for the buffer to fully move the proper distance and can get 'stuck'.

Are you using a standard BCG? Certain designs can hang up in the buffer tube if it isn't on perfectly straight.

The issue could be the buffer tube, it is somewhat common with certain brands that the buffer tube is higher than the bottom of some larger Charging handle's Namely ambidextrous charging handles.
