Genuinely one of the more disappointing games in recent memory. Expected a Free-Roam Future Soldier, got a generic TPS with "SHITBALLS"

Sometimes games surprise me with actual intelligence, but GRW is not one of them. There's a lot of fuckups in the guns. As one of my buddies said, it's not a good game but it can be fun.

If Monty is cornered and not hiding a defuser, he's either last man standing, or he's baiting you. There's literally no reason to rush him with more than one person. It can, will, and has killed teams to bum rush a cornered Monty and get flanked or tk'd.

>>9x39 rifle has less damage than an AK47 and some 5.56 guns
Well all the military loadings are subsonic, so.
>>35116773
But the 9x39 is a thicc round
>>35116456
I think how he's getting at how AK47 was never official nomenclature (or used or known by the Russians), it was just called AK, then AKM. They never called it AK47
AK47 is a western nickname for 7.62x39mm Kalashnikov rifles, to distinguish them from AK74 rifles.
>>35117303
>.45fags
>>35116542
How does subsonic 9x39mm perform though?
And how long is the barrel on the 5.56mm rifles?
Granted, Battlefield is retarded as fuck with everything, shotguns are obscenely nerfed to the point of not being useful, IIRC, pellets stop existing at set ranges.
>/k/ only thinks 9x39mm is a godly caliber because of how powerful 9x39mm is in STALKER.

>it's another "/k/ bitches about game balance" episode
Let me guess you're the type that whines about the M16A1 doing more damage than the AKM or M60 in Rising Storm 2.
>>35117927
Basically, I bet the average wanker couldn't tell you about velocity/weight and terminal ballistics of each 9x39mm load in service.
It's likely not substantially different than 7.62x39mm or .300BLK

>>35117982
>It's likely not substantially different than 7.62x39mm
Not really. Its effective range is 400m, but under that range, its AP capabilities are well-beyond the 7.62. Mostly through its mass and sub-sonic yaw. It doesn't penetrate in the same way high-velocity rounds do. The 9x39mm rounds penetrate through mass and hardness, not speed; their slow flight and total lack of balance results in almost immediate yaw when faced with resistance, allowing for penetration without sacrificing tissue damage as is seen in over-stabilized penetrating rounds. The SP-6 model is capable of punching through 3.5mm of steel at 400 meters, or 6mm of steel at 200 meters. At closer ranges of 100 meters or less it can blast through 8mm of steel and still have enough power to neutralize any soft target beyond the armor.
I suppose its ballistics are actually more like that of a much larger 5.45x39mm round than a fattened 7.62x39mm round.
>>35119140
>its AP capabilities are well-beyond the 7.62
doubt
>>35119162
Well don't take my word for it, do the research yourself. Under its effective range (400m), it's not even a debate, the 9x39mm is actually far beyond the 7.62x39. They're not even part of the same generation (hence the 9x39mm acting more like a larger 5.45x39 rather than a fattened 7.62x39. and also hence the 7.62 being replaced by the 5.45 quite some time ago).

It's high rof with negligible damage falloff, especially compared to guns with a suppressor slapped on it. You HAVE to be able to resupply yourself though.
