what do you think about the Russian new 9x19 pistol
>>35088360
Looks sexy as fuck. If it's built anything like a Makarov I'm a fan.
Those things are tanks
>>35088395
the compact version is going to replace the Makarov
>>35088360
>Russians have abandoned 9x18 for 9x19
>Russians using multicam
>Russians using picatinny rails
ffs why even pretend to be different? i get that you want to get what's good, but i fail to see what 9mm NATO provides what 9mm Mak doesn't.
Russian camo is actually really good.
Their attachments work fine.
Why are the world militaries homogenizing?
>>35088616
so you look like your enemies and steal their supplies ;^)
>>35088616
>9x19 being called the same as 9x18 mak
The nato round develops around 10,000 psi more
K for KGB (?)
>>35088360
>russkies make a domestic 9x19 pistol for their militart
>all the coolguy units and feds in Russia use the Glock 17 anyways
>>35088688
K for short in russian
>>35088616
>what 9mm Mak doesn't.
a good AP round
> Russian camo is actually really good.
only a few unit use Multicam,
the Russia military use digital Flora and most of Russian camo are knock off of German and other European camo
>Their attachments work fine.
no when you want to mount a reddot tandem with night vision or magnifier
>>35088688
It's the K for Kalashnikov Concern
>>35088616
Because 9x19 and Western equipment is superior and has been for over a decade.
They would be stupid to not adapt.
But your bullshit slavcock fetish aside for a moment. They're making effective modernization efforts.
>>35088360
Ok now where do I buy one?
>>35088360
Have they stated a price?
>>35088984
in Russia
or in the State when Trump won next term
>>35089295
nope
>>35088627
But your enemies look like you as well
>>35088360
Its literally a Stery M9
Did russia invade austria lately?
Come on baby lift those import restrictions.
>>35089449
I wish they would
Maybe they could get this back in production
>>35089449
i would kill someone for a GSh-18
it look ugly but atleast it not a glock and mechanical interesting
>>35088901
shamelessly adopting your rivals equipment is admitting defeat
develop something yourself that can compete, like what happened in the Cold War
>>35088674
>>35088750
>>35088901
realistically here, that would be a total change in pistol cartridge for a negligible benefit
that sounds like a huge waste of money for a hilariously small benefit.
Seems ok. Not like I'll ever know for sure, fuck import restrictions. Larry Snickers seemed to like the ergos. It's full DOA, not partially pre-cocked, so I think a manual safety is silly, but it's probably some military req like the US does.
Also they need the wood grips back, they were sexy.
>>35088616
I'll provider counter points
Russia's super hot 9mm is designed specifically for AP.
Russia has a million clones of Western camo already. Adding Multicam isn't really special.
Picatinny is better and allows standardization of attachments between weapons. Old methods work but not as well.
>Why are the world militaries homogenizing?
because they all recognize the better solutions. Using a different not-as-good solutions just to dickwave is Cold War think.
>>35089404
Except the Russian one isn't made out of cheap-feeling plastic and comes in man-size.
if import restrictions were lifted would you guys support tariffs? Would people that doesn't support tariffs be considered globalists?
>>35089622
I'd still argue that a caliber switch with an actual .01 difference is pretty fucking silly. I bet all that i have that "in the field" x19 or x18, it would make no difference in results other than what you have tons in storage for, and Russia has tons of x18.
Picatinny is no doubt an excellent system, but they should make their own system, like H&Ks bullshit.
>>35088616
Russian 9x19 is pretty hot. I wouldn't shoot it through a gun I cared about.
>inb4 some sperg thinks I'm talking about WOLF/TULA
>>35089404
This is the post I was looking for. I just noticed it looked like that except with a smaller spot for the guide rod. I wonder how the internals differ.
The russian one looks a bit better, mags look less complicated/expensive with a better grip
>>35089632
>isn't made out of cheap-feeling plastic
Production models are plastic actually. wood stocked versions are the prototypes and "please buy this gun" handout for generals and politicians. Going forward, all production models will be polymer.
>>35089632
Sure thing Ivan you faggot
>>35089684
which would be fine for a civilian buyer, but now a state entity has to revamp their entire stock to work with this.
>>35089766
How does Russian 9x19 stack up compared to NATO 9x19, and civilian loads in terms of pressure, FPS and bullet weight? Like is it the eqivalent of +p ammo?
