Bought a TR24 1-4 and am confused as to where to zero.

I was shooting wolf gold 55gr out of a 14.5" barrel and zeroed it at 25 yards.

BUT

When i go to 100 to tune the zero up i'm shooting a whole 2 feet above center.

If you actually are a reservist (or maybe im thinking of someone else) you can get a VA loan which will give you 0% down assuming you can make the payments. Somewhere in the Greater Columbus area of Ohio, Preferably somewhere between Southwest and Southeast of the City within about 45 minutes to an hour tops. I gotta agree with this. The LVPO covers a lot more situations than a red dot or ACOG can cover, and you get a lot more magnification options than you would with a ACOG+RMR. Ultimately it's being aware of your surroundings and knowing what you need to have your optic set for at any given moment. In a close in area? Scale it down to 1x. Walking around in big open spaces? Crank it up. Weight is really the only complaint I have. If I were using the optic professionally I would definitely pay out for something nice and light weight for magnification like a Kahles K16i or a Leupold MK6.

How big are the loops on your current holster? You might be able to just have a comp belt, one you could easily take off and keep near you. They're quite comfy with a heavy revolver and you can have it set up with a knife and whatever.

Ah, twas a great day to shoot in NoCo, although the smoky haze from the fires made for a somewhat moody atmosphere.

Thought I'd get back to my roots and grind some fundies with irons and red dot 25-300m shooting with 25m zero. Was surprisingly fun, although walking 600m to check my targets after every firing iteration made the day tough on the feet. Hitting a 300m target that's half presented behind a rise from a standing position braced on a car is quite hard, but I managed to pull off like a 35% hit rate.
