not him but the fastfires are good cheap dots. some people have had problems with them on pistol slides, others haven't. for pistol i would have grabbed the old RMR01/02 from cabelas this past weekend because you could get them for around $200 before they sold out after jumping through a few hoops but that ship sailed obviously. angled red dot, backup dot on a scope, heck even primary dot on a rifle is great for a fastfire. 8moa is more of a pistol sized dot (close range being ok with the big size of it) but if you had to you could use it for 100 yds. end of the day it's still going to work on a man sized target. burris warranty is lifetime so if it dies you'll get a new one.

$98 i'd buy it if i didn't have 4 of them already from the burris rebates. i haven't used them on pistol slides but they're doing fine on my rifles. i probably will at some point because i still haven't used #4 yet (#1 is on a shotgun, #2 is on my burris xtr ii, #3 is on an angled mount)
