I actually prefer the tubular magazine of the model 60 for what I do with my 22. But if I wanted a detachable mag I definitely would have gone with the 10/22

I know this isn't the case for every gun, but I've had a lot of trouble with all other semi-auto 22s on the market. My 10/22s are the only ones that have worked the best.

>CZ 512, second favorite to my 10/22s
>Savage 64F, and A22. Both of these things are fucking awful when it comes to feeding

Of all these, only the 10/22 has fed flawlessly, the 512 has had two total hiccups, and the Model 60 has had a fair amount. The rest are have ranged from okay reliability to hot irredeemable dogshit.

Granted, I don't buy garbage ammo (CCI, federal, and Aguila if desperate), but I've never had any feeding or extracting issues with any ammo other than CCI quiet which is a given, and occasionally with subsonic unsuppressed. 10/22's run better with more ammo types than my CZ Kadet.

Between borrowing a friends tech sight 10/22 for appleseed, my own TD and RAR, I've never had an issue with the magazines. Either the 10 rounders or the bx-25's.
