Looks to be an imperial orb weaver. These things look scary, but they are in fact huge, useless pussys. I caught one, put it in a cage, and then put a cricket in there. It was so afraid of the cricket, it crawled to the top of the cage and slowly starved to death

This is great. Im doing the same but with snails. Not for hunting but for a gladiator arena. Been breeding them in a tank, feeding them from the garden. Once they are of size I plan on gluing weaponry to the shells and pit fighting them. Then I film it for fast forward replay later. Like slowmo battlebots.

Might add laser pointer circuits and air drop into shitty neighbors yard one eve.
