Their AP round is hot as fuck. Realistically, most pistols will never see that round count period. Service life doesn't mean the gun is going to go tits up and assplode into your hand on the 10001st shot. It just means that the gun is expected to be useable and serviceable by people/institutions who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground up to that point.
