I wont be getting my first .22 rifle for a few months, would anyone be willing to let me shoot their rifle if I bring my own ammunition?

I'm pretty new to things and can only bring a .22 pistol and a little spinner but it's better than nothing. If I can convince my roommate who is kinda afraid of guns that this would be a good way to ease him in then I'll come but that might be difficult.

Last time I was out there in my 4x4 pickup a plain old rock from the road inserted itself through my tire leaving a hole I could put my thumb through.
