California allows CC of any size folding knife. This is why you'll find some comically large folders for the princely sum of $25 at mini marts in some areas. I do back left, when I carry a folder. Back right is reserved for flashlight and front pockets are wallet/phone. I get much more use out of my flashlight, so the knife goes in the least useful pocket.
