The slide release is not designed without average human thumb strength in mind and the trigger felt weird after the magazine disconnect removal.
Also the mags are either 10rd or 17rd with no in-between so if your state has a mag capacity limit below 17rd you might have to settle with 10rds of 9mm in the year of 2017.

Not that it will break any more quickly, I have no idea about it's durability, but when it does eventually it's going to blow trying to replace what goes out unless it gets more popular. Not a huge issue for the price, I like that the bore axis looks low, and its okay to look at but still not attractive. It's the worst of both worlds. If you like manual safeties it's too small and slippery to manipulate in a hurry, too small to use as a thumbrest to help you get a higher grip on the gun and be absolutely certain of its position.

And if you don't like manual safeties, it's too small to ignore and not really positive enough. You'll find yourself checking constantly to be sure it's off, which does nothing for speed or confidence.

Save your pennies and get a used M&P 9mm for $100 more. You can have it with a manual safety or without, your preference.
