Liberals don't see institutions as existing to serve a specific purpose/function. They purely see them as a paycheck from the government. Naturally when they see that certain institutions are weighted disproportionately towards one group eg. men in the military they get pissy because they perceive that as the government favouring men over women because they're giving them more money. So they scream and cry and protest and call for more women in the military without ever considering that the military is better off with more men. They just don't consider it. Clearly it doesn't help that they have been brainwashed since birth to believe that men and women are entirely equal in every possible way so there couldn't feasibly be any difference between a 95% male, 5% female army and a 60% male and 40% female army. Yet we all know that there are differences and the army with more men in will, ceteris paribus, wipe the floor with the feminised one.
