>Which round is superior considering ballistics and range along with weapons compatibility?
The one you need for the task at hand.
Now, list the 2000-3000 tasks that a gun can do so that I can give you 2000 or 3000 different answers!!

Ballistics and range I would have to say 6.5 Grendel wins, it'll get out to a longer range and retain more velocity, and can take advantage of a barrel longer than 16 inches, which the 6.8 SPC cannot do if you're going with factory ammo, although SPC has better effect against target, but not really enough to make too big a difference, and so long as you're within 500 yards. The big thing is cost of ammo, with Grendel being a third of the cost of 6.8, generally.

Deese rounds is superior considering ballistics and range along with weapons compatibility.

>"teh best cartridges"
Maybe if you want to work a bolt, OP's, judging by the rounds chosen, looking for an AR-15, your rounds aren't gonna work in that rifle platform.

AR-15 < AR-10

>90gr 6.8
>120gr 6.5
Everyone knows 6.8 110gr's are literal god-tier. Especially since you don't basically neuter the cartridge if you want shorter barrels. That, and capacity.
>inb4 but muh memepups
>inb4 muh superior 6.5 Creedmoor/.300 WinMag/other X/Y/Z cartridge.

I would generally agree, but not everyone likes the stout recoil, I call those people pussies, but they exist. and, to be honest 6.5 isn't a bad alternative to 7.62x51, great accuracy out to range, better ballistics than 5.56x45, high ammunition capacity, and not as heavy as 308, plus an AR-15 has a lot of additional calibers for it, as well as a significantly larger aftermarket. so I can see why people'd go for it instead.
where my .277 WLV niggas at?

>A literal meme round built to compete with another meme round
30AR which is necked down 450 bushmaster and is the same length as 223 but has the range of 308.

>10 rounds in a mag
No thanks.
6.5 Grendel is superior, but it is still hampered by the AR-15's magazine length. If you want a new cartridge you either need to come out with a new gun with a longer well or a new powder that makes smokeless look like black.
>>35000673
With the subsonic loadings it actually competes with two meme rounds.

There are plenty of powders capable of that. There aren't chambers capable of handling the pressures those powders generate in those amounts.

6.5mm CTSAS.
>>34999949
Either in 6mm is fine
6.5 and 6.8 are too fat and heavy
>>35001715
How aboat 5.56 in Grendel case?
>>35001789
.22 nosler basically at that point
Not bad if your sticking to the heavier pills.
>>35001809
>.22 nosler
Short and fat bullet. Not really better than 0.223
>>35001844
>Short and fat bullet
No...
Fatter cartridge, same bolt face.
Same COAL, more case capacity. You're adding about 300 FPS to any weight bullet over the .223/5.56.
>>35001844
Its a 6.8 spc with a .223 base and neck.
The 6mm's get you some really nice BCs
