Which factory ammo has the best packaging?
>Space efficient

I prefer my smaller centrefire ammo to come in boxes roughly the dimensions of a skyscraper per 20rnds.

I prefer my ammo to come in a large bucket

Barnaul?

Is that a WSM round? They have to make the box bigger because the case is fatter.
My vote for best packaging goes to ZQI and Federal no tray. There's no tray or Styrofoam insert to waste space.

Pulling out one round at a time. Feeling its girth in your hand.
Cold, raw power.
GGG 7,62x51 real fucken nato
comes in tiny boxes
>yet tiny boxe can also store ammo monted on clips
>0,75 € a round
>147gr 820m/S
>annealed brass
>primer pocket is REAL boxer
>FMJ that dent our gong yet don't eat the barrel
>accurate in ALL my 308 (fr8, K98 IDF, TIkka T3 ) savage 99cd lever action

btw strictly speakong 147 to 155gr nato spec 308 :tulammo is 8€ a box of 20 and sucks ballz past 100m (and don't feed in savage), barnaul is 12 for steel case ! PPU is around 13 and not this accurate, magtech is better yet inferiour to GGG for almost 14€, winchester is 18, remington around the same and lapua 40...
those bullets are the reason i don't even reload 147gr no more 175gr hpbt still.
>>34999241
That looks like something you would see in a pharmacy or Docs office. Most 5.7x28 is packed pretty tight too, the boxs are adorable irl
While I love the ammo itself and the small boxes are space efficient the sealed blister packs are a little annoying when you've opened them but have ammo left unfired at the end of the day.
>>34999411

How's it shoot anon? I've been thinking about making a bulk purchase for 1000 rounds, but I've never used that brand.
I got into guns because of autistic Japanese games like Resident Evil 4 that had neat designs for items, specifically their ammo boxes. Please post more ammo box porn.
>>35002434
>Autism
Here you go
CCI. most mags are in counts of 5. 10,15,25,50...simply move the top back and dump the exact number of rounds you need in your hand.
The worst is gp11. 48 cigarette packs of ten to fill a six round mag. That fucking drives me crazy.
>>35002443
I'm not denying I'm probably autistic, but let's not be needlessly offensive here, posting shit like that. I'm talking about neat looking stuff like >>34999241.
I always liked the old ammo boxes like this one
>pic is old so forget the other crap
>>34999411
the only reason why GGG is so cheap it's because estonia gov't is paying 20% of the ammo, that's why they can use god tier powder, bullet and brass without worries
I prefer paper packs. Except the russian ones that are held together by staples or wishful thinking.
Fucking hate boxes that have huge plastic dividers. When i take boxed ammo to the range I want the least amount od garbage possible. The boxes themselves are usually gaudy visual noise loaded with marketing keywords. I just want caliber, grain, bullet derails, and a rough idea of powder charge (typically buy NATO standards for this reason)
A few of the bulk packs come in minimalistic boxes that i don't mind, they just usually come in many small boxes. Ppu 5.56 at least comes in 30rd cubes but the cardboard is still bulky by comparison.
Commercial ammo cans are trashy and best avoided, too thin and poorly made

This. Bought a surplus 5.56 ammo can for just a little more, but far less than I would have paid for a .50 cal ammo can.
>>35005253
In a 50cal ammo can, if you stack them like so, you can get 1575rds of 5.56 in there. 3 layers of 525, separated by cardboard or cardstock
>>35005253
I don't have enough .308 loaded but I've figured out you can get 2 layers of 324 in a 50cal can, with a as of yet undetermined amount of loose on top

>>>35005253
>I don't have enough .308 loaded but I've figured out you can get 2 layers of 324 in a 50cal can, with a as of yet undetermined amount of loose on top
Also, if you reload and you're the type that buys the blank boxes and foam inserts you can save a ton of money by instead turning old boxes inside out and reusing them.
You get a shitton of blank space to write load data, and you're recycling.
50 round boxes are comfy
A collection of .22 I found on GunBroker.
>>34998099
looks like generic finnish brand pills
>>35005056
There is someone who does that better, and I bought both GeCo ammo and the pic related S&B.
The plastic tray is so compact that they have the smallest tray box per 50 rounds yet the rounds are packed extremely good they don't even rattle.
Also love the autistic feature that the round is held by the case mouth with the bullet touching nothing.
I actually save some of those boxes for my own handloads, they are so compact.
>>35006861

I'm not even the anon that posted the image but I'm curious as to how far advanced your arthritis and/or Parkinson's is that you assume that stacking ammo takes a long time. Hey, my dad left all his guns for me when he passed and somewhere in the bottom of his ammo stash I found rounds like these. They're 6.5 but seem to be FMJ? I tried googling the name "Metallverken" along with a number I found near the primer, but got no real results. Do you know what they are?
They don't look like hollow points so I'm thinking they're either something he brought home from the army? Cheap ammo to use for sighting in maybe?
>>35028116
It's what they used before switching to spitzer bullets. Keep in mind that the point of impact will be different between them so I wouldn't recommend using them to sight in guns that are otherwise going to eat pointed stuff.

Okay. I might "dispose" of them at a range then. No clue how old they are or how long they've been rolling around in that ammo drawer of his.

They come with 20rds a box on two 10rnd "clips" (pic related) which can be snapped in two.
