This gun vs sword game has played out literally thousands of times throughout history. The 1911 was literally designed to BTFO of sword wielding idiots in the phillipines.

Only time swords beat guns:
1: Massed charges of swordsmen with utterly overwhelming numbers swamping a small group of men with guns with a literal mountain of corpses. At which point you are just sacrificing a few hundred/thousand guys who could have just been carrying rifles to kill a single squad of regularly armed soldiers.

2: A sudden ambush in which a swordsman suddenly jumps out of some sort of concealment and attacks an unwary gunman. In 99.9% of these cases the swordsman still dies too.

3: Back when incredibly inaccurate single shot muzzle loading flintlocks and matchlocks were the pinnacle of firearm tech and had a habit of misfiring under stress or bad conditions men with swords would often beat men with guns. This level of poor firearm development ended pretty much as soon as percussion caps were developed.

Stabbing or slashing somebody to death is pretty difficult to do, even on purpose. Unless the swordswoman somehow lands with full body weight behind the hilt the gunwoman is just gonna get a laceration that requires some stitches.
