Hey /k/ - I don't come here often and I know shitfuck about guns, but I'm making a cyberpunk game and I need references of the heaviest, prettiest, most cyberpunk-looking guns that I absolutely must have in it. Could you help me out?
Pic related.
the glock rifle kit is pretty interesting looking, as is the kriss vector rifle with all the bells and whistles. if you dont mind being a blatant rip, look at and draw inspiration from the shadowrun weapons, as well as borderlands 1, and in general every sci-fi flick and game you can get your hands on.

also, deviantart has a TON of shit like you might like, 3d renders and sketches, if you just look for 'em.

What sort of technology level of cyberpunk? Are we talking full smart weapons? Guns with a focus on taking out meat and augs? Are we 20 minutes in the future or 30 years into a dystopia?
>>34980972
Any anti tank rifle
>put tech details on it light energy cell etc..
>remove scope if you want to make a single shot battle rife a semiauto or an automatic of some kind
>keep scope if you want a crazy looking oversized sniper rife that doesn't look like every other 50cal knock off in games

Dammit now I want to preorder the stock unless its out already.
>>34982787
it's been out for ages and the quality is garbage
Name of game?

Is that yours? I'm tweaking a Mossberg 500 to be a futuristic scattergat for HD-could you list what parts you threw on there? That looks very slick.

Looks like a Remington 870 with an ar-15 stock adapter.
>>34980972
uts-15, same bullpup shotgun style like the dp-12 and ksg

Basically any prototype gun from the 1980's is /cyberpunk/ as fuck. A lot of people think cyberpunk = futuristic. It's gotta be retro-futuristic. Listen to synthwave for inspiration. I would argue that the gun you posted is just futuristic.

>the quality is garbage
I handled/fired one for a little bit. seemed fine to me.

Try opening one up, the polymer is paper thin.
OP, look up 'Neos Beretta' they make some really cyber punk looking target pistols. They are 22 lr though so pray that your audience doesnt know much about guns.
Also Chiappa Rhino.
VHS 2.

>>34980972
Sometimes its the accessories on a weapon that make it cyberpunk
>>34985635
oops i guess that was a joke image

Check out this AK 47

The Calico 9mm carbine and pistol are pretty much the definition of cyber punk with 80s looks, that and SPAS 12 shotguns. Handgun wisde Id say the Jericho or the Webly Fosbery
>>34985670
Thats the butchered johnson
My favorite part is the garden hose on the top of the stock

This gets it pretty on point. Albeit the one major caveat is whose shit it is. Some street level chummer? Probably something old with a couple fancy modifications to keep up with the times. Is it some CorpSec asshole? Probably looks futuristic as shit. Is it some experimental R&D kit? SPACEGUNS v0.1.
Most cyberpunk is 70-90's era prototypes and kitbashing old guns with new tech.
Ordered one of these in .308
I think its pretty futuristic
The maxim 9 is pretty fukkin cyberpunk.
Kriss Vector

>>34985906
I dig it, but that's more steampunk than cyberpunk.
>>34980972
The recent polymer-framed remake of the Whitney Wolverine is probably the most cyberpunk looking pistol ever.
>>34987470
i love it
>>34985513
God damn I want those in the states
Walther P99 Gen 1 with a BA-6 laser. Looks pretty Cyberpunk to me.
>>34986338
What the fuck is that?

It should also be noted that the aesthetics of the time period focused on clean lines and smooth surfaces, so texturing should be cut down compared to modern firearms.

Surefire Hellfighter

I dunno I think that looks way more atompunk
