I just impulse bought this all matching artillery Luger for $1500.
>how did I do
>gun
>RHD car
nigga where you at?
>>34980930
You could have put the gun on the seat next to you, waited a little while until you got home, whatever. But no, you're a retarded little manchild, so that wasn't going to happen.
>>34980935
I'm in NC. I imported a old school Surf from Japan kek
>>34980953
lole ok m8 gj
Pretty fucking good man. Post more pics. I'm guessing it was lower peiced because its not a 9mm? Estate auction or where'd you pick it up?
>>34980959
9mm.
No idea why it sold so low. I wasn't even there to buy it because I assumed it would go way too high. I actually went to buy a Steyr Hahn. (Won it for $475)
>>34980947
>waaahhhh he did something I don't like.
I'd be excited as fuck if I got that deal.
>>34980942
>800m adjustable leaf sight
Well, you gotta give them credit for optimism.
>>34981009
My two mausers have 2000 I think, not sure why the czechs/krauts did that
>>34981009
Hey, you might hit the target once... In the entire mag... If you had a snail mag.
>>34981053
I can just imagine an officer proned out next to his troopers, plinking away with his broomhandle or luger
They only sale for like $1000 or so.
Funny I just bought a non matching beat to shit luger for 475$
>>34980930
Did fair if no stock; great if it still has the stock. Outstanding if it has the stock, holster, and harness.
>>34981053
>not sure why the czechs/krauts did that
Because the bullet is still lethal at that distance. It's meant for massed infantry fire on a single target.
>>34981053
Pretty much everyone had sights like that until/after WW2. The idea was a large group of soldiers would sit at the end of an open field or elevated position overlooking the enemy, aim up with the sights set to a ridiculous range, and volley fire to make a lot of bullets come down on one area. It was almost never done but many guns kept the ability to do it.
>>34981079
Fair? Here one just sold for 2700. I would so OP did fantastic
http://www.gunbroker.com/item/668755473
That's a beautiful piece anon. Also, nice ride. And shorts. Damn, this is an aesthetic thread.
Lol you got fucked
>>34980930
Fucking awesome. Give us a range report with pics.
>>34980930
What's with the moon runes on the receiver?
>>34981399
I don't feel like I did for $1975 total.
>>34980953
Nice ride, anon. More pics?
>>34981430
Not OP.
Some chinese warlods did buy Lugers in the 20's-30's.
>>34981430
>>34981452
Not moonrunes, but German proof marks.

You're right.
I'm blind as fuck, Jesus...
>>34981405
I'm going to run 5 rounds through it in the backyard.
Fingers crossed it doesn't explode.
>>34980947
You sound like a real treat to be around
>ur a fagut
>>34981487
report back with results OP. I'm rooting for you.
>>34981502
Are artillery Lugers supposed to lock open on an empty mag? I know my 1921 Luger does however this one only stays open by catching on the follower. Once you drop the mag the toggle releases
>all fingers are intact.
>>34981524
Fug forgot pic.
>>34980953
You're a pretty cool guy. Other people would have gotten a glock and a f150.
>>34981561
h-hey... I have a malibu thank you very much..

>$1,425.00
Really need to get those eyes checked, Anon.
>>34981635
Not OP but you do realize they don't have to sell it if it doesn't meet their expected pay out, right?
How does she shoot, op?
>>34980930
>Luger
>RHD yota
You dun good boy
>>34980930
Fucking where tho? I know NC, but where?
>>34981738
Random auction in king.
>>34981681
Shot fine.
Does anyone know what the fuck went on for the bottom serial number for the steyr?
Got the 37th edition of the blue book handy. What year is it?
>>34980930
why even buy it ?
will you be able to sell it for more $$ later ?
>>34981657
>Not OP but you do realize they don't have to sell it if it doesn't meet their expected pay out, right?
>No Reserve!
The blind leading the blind here.
>>34982119
Nvm. I should have just looked at the pics, lol.
>>34982122
yeah man who would buy some old nazi pos. wif 1.5k u could get a proper tactical ar, just like nutnfancy recommended!
Alright. It looks like a 1914-1918 dated DWM Artillery. 9x19, 8 inch barrel...
98% = 3500
95% = 3000
90% = 2500
80% = 2000
70% = 1850
60% = 1500
Add 100% for matching stock with complete holster rig, depending on condition.
Add 600 for proper non-matching stock.
Add 550 for original leather holster with shoulder strap.
Add 200% for rare 1914 chamber date.
Add 20% for 1915 chamber date.
Add 20%+ for Imperial unit markings (depending on history of unit)
Hard to tell exactly how much finish is left on it from the pictures.
>>34980930
*Notices bulge*
OwO whats this?
>>34982171
Conservative estimate 80-85% finish left.
>>34982186
At the very most, it looks like you paid market value for it.
>>34982146
investing in hard goods, ie. guns is risky at best
>>34982224
>milsurp not being made anymore
>values always going up
How is that risky?
>Artillery Luger
>Red 9 Mauser
What you got to raid trenches with?
>>34982224
firearms are one of the only products on Earth that appreciate exponentially in value as time goes on
get the fuck off of /k/ you stupid noguns yurofaggot
>>34982426
C96
>>34980947
Jesus christ, pull the pineapple out of your ass and maybe people won't despise being around you.
>>34981399
That's actually insanely good for an artillery luger in that condition.
>>34982426
A pouch full of grenades and a stick.
>>34982224
t. moron
Does anyone else think Luger prices are trending softer all the time? My theory is that the boomers who collected the shit out of them and obsessed over variants are all dying so their collections of basically identical guns(identical to someone who doesn't give a fuck what stamp is on it or the shape of one part etc) gets dumped and the amount of youngfags who are gonna pay top dollar for X variant is fucking LOW. I've been to several sales of collections where big lots of lugers underperformed. I think it's going to continue.
>>34980953
temp tag says VA
>>34982438
honestly you're both right, firearms are a pretty bad financial investment for a number of reasons, unless it's a relic, NFA or some retardedly expensive masterwork, barring major gun control regulation of course. If another AWB kicked in everyone's 500$ black rifle might as well be made of solid gold.
anyway, even guns with a high pricetag are gonna depreciate as the "next big thing" comes out. I bet SCARs will be had for 750 dollars once the next flavor of the decade comes around
but the value of a weapon isn't in the dollar amount, it's in the capability to kill
>>34982696
>not realizing you can buy a vehicle in another state.
>>34980930
1500 my ass
>>34982224
>Yes goy, invest in stocks, especially now since they're at an all time high. You know what they say, buy high, sell higher!
>>34980930
nice.
>>34982674
I sure hope so. I've finally got a big boy job and disposable income, so I want to buy at least 1.
>soon...
>>34982224
all you whiners have apparently forgot when basic AR15's were selling for $2500 and then 1 year later they are selling for $500
yeah investing in guns is as safe as buying gold nuggets
lol
>>34982898
and don't even mention hording ammo
prices have plummetted back down to earth for almost all calibers
>>34980930
were the short shorts necessary? shave that shit or wear pants. jesus.
>>34982924
You think men should shave their legs? Lol what the fuck
>>34982898
Here's a novel thought, maybe he bought it just for the historical value, or because it's fun to have? Not everyone is as materialistic as you, anon
>>34982898
When's the last time a Luger was produced ?
>>34983016
90s when Mitchell from Mitchell's Mausers thought it was a good idea to make a stainless steel Luger
>>34982898
it took longer than a year for the prices to come down to what we have not. more like 5 -7 years coming off the AWB. ARs are at the absolute bottom right now, and if their were a good investment gun to get into it would be ARs right now.
most guns are not necessarily good investments, but there is value because you can buy a gun, shoot it, enjoy it, then alays be able to sell it at a minor loss. but, you will always be able to sell or trade a gun even after SHTF.
furthermore, if you want to spend your money on anything that will be valuagle in a grid down, or ecinomic crash situation, it would be guns and ammo. they have real value when the chips are down.
These two with the rest of my milsurp collection
>>34983119
Underwhelming
>>34980930
why do you wear your pants so fucking tight doesnt that make your balls uncomfortable?
>>34983212

How did a Brit get a pistol?
>>34982701
>not buying a cnc machine.
>not using hand tools to carve out chucks of metal of all old schools guns.
>not forgeing things to fit your needs beyond guns.
Shame /komrade, you dont prepare well enough.
>>34983633
>not reading the thread.
grats OP, my dad has a Luger he inherited from his dad and I have to say it was probably the most fun pistol I've ever used
>>34982898
yeah Ar-15, Luger I see no problem comparing these two things
>>34981433
Way more interested in the steyr.
>>34984683
That's actually the gun I went to buy. The Luger just kind of fell into my lap.
>>34980930
You can afford to import a JDM car and impulse-buy for $1,500. I don't think it matters how you did. Nice gun though! I hope you have lots of fun shooting it.
>>34982185
my man
>>34984746
good gosh i didn't even notice RHD. i'm really getting old.
>>34984739
Cool stuff. Lugers leave me cold for whatever reason but I definitely want a Steyr Hahn.
>>34983056
IIRC a bunch of those were actually period Lugers they scrubbed the finish off of and shittily nickel plated because retards were willing to destroy a bunch of collectible Lugers for MUH SHINY FINISH.
Mitchell's Mausers are horrible hacks who butcher milsurp and try to resell it for more than original value (when it's now nearly worthless even as a shooter).
>>34980930
>all matching artillery Luger for $1500.
mad jelly
How often were these actually used in battle?
>>34985276
Lugers? As often as any other pistol in WWII I'd imagine, why would they be different?
>>34985958
No the artillery Luger specifically.
>>34985958
No the artillery Luger specifically.
>>34984905
I bought on of their SS Mauser years ago.....fuck me.
>>34980930
Gun worth more than car.
White Trash
>>34987557
Either that's one great gun or one shitty car.
>>34987557
Gun appreciates in value
Car depreciates in value
>>34987785
Depends on the vehicle really and how well you take care of it.
>>34982185
>>34981053
As the other anons pointed out it's for volley fire. You aren't really aiming at a point target, but you still need to get the elevation right.
>>34988156
Imagine a bunch of WW1 Germans firing volleys with Artillery lugers from 800 meyers away.
>>34981399
Lmaoing at your life you ignorant peasant.
>>34981635
> not numbers matching
> stock lug has been removed
Yeah its totally the same thing guy.
Fucking dumbass.
>>34982122
That's an heirloom type gun. Not many gun owners buy guns with plans to sell them don't be an asshole and stop being poor.
>>34987557
>imported vehicle from Japan
I'm assuming it has collector value since he went through the trouble to import it.

But yes, let's go give the car kikes $30-40k for a new plastic car that can be hacked by CIA niggers and has more technology than a majority of the world's military equipment, because xD you should be able to snapchat and vroom vroom and facegram and all of that other faggot shit while sipping your latte and watching a camera while your car auto backs up because people no longer know how to back up their vehicles and parallel park without computer assistance.
>>34989475
>can be hacked by cia niggers
Yeah man, de gubberment is out to get you
>more technology than the majority of the world's military equipment
dae think technical advancement, greater comfort, and better safety features is actually bad because hipsterism xDD
Enjoy your povertymobile, you being a luddite doesn't change the fact that modern cars are superior.
>>34989507
Literally not an argument
>>34988144
