Convince me to not buy a 20 inch barreled upper receiver so I can put it on my carbine lower.
That combo is so a e s t h e t i c
Also aesthetic weapons thread

>>34974971
W-why not
>carbine lower
But isn't that just like, any lower? Stock aside. what makes a carbine lower?
>>34974982
Apparently having an adjustable stock that rides over the buffer tube, like the ones in his vidya.

Forgot image contribution.

Buffer tube is shorter and buffer is smaller

Pro tip, I can't.
I worked with some CANs in Afghanistan. I really liked this set up. I have seen this done in the US at some OBC training units so females could properly shoot with body armor. Personally, I would run this set up with an Ace SOCOM stock and a 20" pencil bbl.
>>34974957
Get an A1 or A2 fixed stock fag.
>>34975264
It's form over function
It's not worth putting on my weapon if it doesn't look good
>T. /arg/
Ive done it its front heavy and shifts the balance. if you do decide to do it shell out for a lightweight or pencil profile. a2 sucks.
>>34974957
Just get Vltor A5 buffer kit and you'll be good to go
>>34974971
Nigger you are retarded, mine works just fine. >>34974957

>>34974957
No, I'm not gonna convince you to not buy it. Fucking buy it you shit.
>>34974957
Here op my first build was a 20" upper with carbine lower. I love this rifle.
That looks stupid as shit. Only leaves and fags think that looks good
>>34974957
Go the other way, 16" upper with rifle length buffer. Shoots like butter.
>>34974957
You can always tell its Canadian forces because of the goofy fucking optic we put on all of our guns
>>34974957

Budget constraints mean that if need to be part of the creme that rises to the top if you want to be deployed.
I remember in highschool a teacher's son got back from Afghanistan at the height of Canada's deployment and he talked to the class. He said that those who applied got additional counter insurgency training and of the like 18 in his group, only like four others got sent besides himself and he was a medic.
some CWO and gunners didnt like it.
something about reliability (i bet it was because of drill instructors)
