Do women get it easier in terms of being yelled at/harassed ect. during boot camp or is it the same for both genders

>Inna basic
>Relaxin Jackson
>Entire company is in formation for some shit
>Female trainee asks to go latrine
>Female ds yells no
>Trainee says it's for "feminine hygiene"
>DS yells that she doesn't care
>Makes trainee to pushups

Draw your own conclusions
>>
>Get out of Basic and tech school
>Go to first base
>Two females show up several months after me a few months apart from each other
>Everyone telling Basic stories in the breakroom
>Females laugh that their TIs were dope and never yelled at them.

Female troops are cancer. The only reason I tolerate one of them is because I fantasize about fucking her.
>>
just finished USMC OCS. The female platoons suffered through the same shit we did. However their attrition rate was like 6x as high as the male platoons. In many ways their sergeant instructors were even more brutal than ours. So no, they don't get it easier, as least not in the Marine Corps.
>>
>Is it the same for both genders
Canuck here. Not even close.
I swear the army is turning me into a MGTOW, MRA radical. It genuinely blows your mind when you see not only the poor standard that gets overlooked, but the straight up attitude that gets overlooked too.

RNR here, going of confirmation course in September. So far I've not really seen them treated any different, aside from on the weapons handling course. Bootneck Colour Sergeant in charge definitely went easy on the females, at least relative to the males then.

WHT direction is down to a lot more than male/female. Some bright spark came up with the idea that instead of just running reservists through the test a dozen times at their units, it would be better to teach it in drips.

As such, you've got people coming in from all over the country with massive variance in WHT familiarity. Some people have done the whole test time and time again. Others have never even seen the weapon despite being at their units for months.

this, and it gets even worse with female officers

who in the army had the bright idea to remove drill sgts from AIT?

when I was in AIT, it is all I wanted. to not have drill sgts and take AIT as a Gentleman's Course. Where I just got my self to class, and was on my own outside of class.

then I get 2 dozen chucklefuck 25B privates in my company in 2009. none of them had drill sgts during AIT. all sorts of ate up and undisciplined little shits. a few were chaptered out with in months for discipline problems or marriage drama.the rest we managed to hammer back into shape and turn into some outstanding Sgts by the time I left.

I heard their basic stories too. how they were allowed to keep their cellphones and use them in the bay after the day's training was done. fuck, when I went through Fort Sill in 2003. I got 5 minutes on a pay phone at the drill pad on sunday. that was if the entire battary was good and the drill sgts were in a good mood.

Depends on(nationality), branch and IET station.

I went through Benning back when it was still an all-male base, so I don't have firsthand accounts from my basic. However, I then got stationed on Jackson as a JNCO helping with the whole TRADOC thing, and I have a few observations
1. Despite me being non-OSUT myself, my Basic was 100x harder than what went on for either gender at Jackson just a few years later.
2. Females were given about 5x the downtime of males within the same training battalions for both Basic and AIT
3. Females got away with shit that would've seen a male IET soldier get court martialed. And when I say "get away with it" I don't mean they got smoked instead, I mean "tee hee don't let it happen again, go on about your day".
3. Female DS's and cadre went out of their way to shit on males while going out of their way to prop up females. The number of times I personally witnessed a female DI or cadre pencil-whip a qual card or PT test to pass a female that wasn't even close, or intentionally shred a male's records so they had to re-do something, was staggering.
4. False rape/harrassment/other-misconduct allegations ran rampant, and good men got fried over them even when they could conclusively prove they didn't do it (such as having TDY orders out of the country at the time, or having literally hundreds of witnesses placing one or the other somewhere other than where the female claimed). This was ACTIVELY ENCOURAGED by the female cadre and ignored by the command staff, to the point where IG basically set up shop there to handle the literally thousands of complaints and counter-complaints about it being mishandled.

>his drill pad had working phones
My SDS had an autistic rage fit within 5 minutes of us un-assing the bus because we had some border-hopper that either couldn't or refused to speak ANY English, and took a fire axe to the phones. They were never replaced. I never was given an opportunity to make a call the entire duration of Basic because we weren't allowed out of the company area for any reason other than Sunday church (which we were escorted for) or scheduled training (which we marched to in formation).

Also 2005.

my basic training battery's commanding officer would have had kittens if someone in his cadre damaged "his" property like that. He was a Captain Sobel type. I would over hear him when he was observing training "recruits are fucking up all the training again. don't turn the hot water on".
>>
>>34972835
I know that shit.
But the NMT100 I went on, specifically the basic fieldcraft during the last two days rather than the weapons handling stuff, the Marine in charge went easier on the females.
Aside from that, my experience has been the same between males and females. Some are really switched on, some are reasonably competent and some are absolute morons.

>how they were allowed to keep their cellphones and use them in the bay after the day's training was done

I went through Air Force Basic last May and cell phones were confiscated right off the bus. We were permitted one phone call four weeks in and if the person you called didn't pick up than you were shit out of luck.

My wife was in the shower when I called and I ended up being the only one who didn't get a hold of family. Ironically one of my other flight mates got informed by his wife that they were having twins.

>>34974251
How is that ironic?
>>
>>34974273

I guess cause it's the dichotomy of "didn't get any contact" versus "got happy news and cried tears of joy." Maybe I meant "coincidentally..."

He's secretly Alanis Morrisette.

Yes, they have it easier
