Whats /k/'s take on the Century C93? Are they Century abominations or do they generally function well? I've heard good and bad things about them, Nutnfaggy likes his and he's a turbo autist for anything being wrong with a gun.
Just from a historical standpoint they're pretty neat and a cool AR alternative.
For that price I could look past a lot of Century's typical bullshit.

Theres one on Armslist now NIB for $590, no idea if it'll get bids but I'm guessing it will. For $590 I'd give it a shot
I REALLY wish PTR industries would make an HK 93 clone so I didn'tdnt have to buy century. But I may have to.
>>34970876
gunbroker has them for less
>>34970738
I own one, 3000+ rounds with no malfs besides me short stroking it.
>>34970738
Anyone have the C93 headsquash man? Please tell me someone knows what I'm talking about.
>>34970926
Hate the extra 3% free for cards.
>>34970738
Been looking at buying one for the last year. Word is that they are quite good. Only problem is the cost for HK accessories and mags. Pretty much one of century's few quality guns. Buy one.
>>34970915
IKR! Seems like such wasted potential, maybe eventually
>>34970926
Link? Are they new?
>>34971000
Kinda surprising but maybe they're more idiot proof in terms of assembly than AKs.
I have one I got new from a local gun store for $600. It's worse in every way than an AR15, but it has an interesting locking mechanism and generally feels cool, but its not nearly as practical. Ergonomics are worse by far, no last round hold open, no ability to modify it, much stronger recoil spring, and just generally worse.
>>34971140
What does the recoil spring do? Also can you load the mags with stripper clips?
>>34971153
I mean the spring behind the bolt, which must be stronger than a locked breach gun because it is roller delayed blowback. It's not a real issue, just inconvenient. The slap is fun. I don't have any stripper clips so I can't say.

I had some turbo merchant at a gun show try to sell me one with 5 mags for $1400 claiming it was a Vector Arms V93.
>>34971294
How hard is it now to find the Vector 93s?
>>34971140
>no ability to modify it
>not nearly as practical
>Ergonomics are worse by far
i have a feeling these complaints are exactly the same
>"you can't play gun barbie with it and modify every last part to your specific tastes, so it's worse in every way"
it's far cheaper than a "good" AR, it works and it's cool, that's about all you need
>>34971307
I don't really see them come up for sale much, when they were still available a year or so ago from stores they were around $1000. However Vector has since disappeared as a company and some of their stuff was supposedly plagued by the same issues Century had with monkey construction although possibly to a lesser extent.
Dunno if these are still in stock
