Real answer: it's fine. Rotate the ammo if you're worried about it, shoot the ammo that was in the gun during your next range trip.

If you're not sure about the gun field strip it and check for rust. There shouldn't be much if any.

As soon as humanly possible, take it completely apart, dry all surfaces and apply a good penetrating oil. Might be hard with all the "assemblies" though, shoulda bought a 1911 :^)

Thanks. It has white lithium grease inside and silicon on the outside. It was in a range bag with some ammo that looks okay. I just didn't want to risk glocknading myself if it isn't safe.

There wasn't any water pooled but the bag and holster were damp and I could see beads of water on the gun.

Just wipe it dry and oil it, the reason most guns have finished metal is so that can survive getting wet for a few hours

nothing is going to happen. just clean like you normally would when you field strip it, apply oil...

I left mine in a basket of wet laundry once for like 9 days. The laundry mildewed and the basket started to fall apart, but the Glock was fine and all the rounds fired. I would swap them for carry, though.

I haven't had rust issues with any modern gun besides a small amount on my P938. Can get pretty sweaty carrying a gun, and that's salty, too. Plain rain water isn't as bad sweat.

Of all my guns, I've only spotted rust on my AK (Saiga) and Mosin.

Something about slavshit I guess. Everything else has been great. Even my Kimber which are notorious for rust made it through a 6 hour motorcycle ride in the rain. I just dropped the mag and locked the slide back when I got home so it could dry out.

Yeah, it's probably ruined. You can try baking it but it probably won't rise properly. It might firm up if you leave it in the fridge overnight, but you're probably better off tossing it and starting over.
