So I have SLR adjustable gas block on my rifle. It works and I like it, but what happens to the excess gas being restricted? Same goes for a Syrac in its non bleed off positions?

Does restricting flow at gas block cure all symptoms of overgassing like magazine overrun, excessive gas ring wear, cam pin wear, bolt bounce etc.?

Are there other things still being affected?

You could try a magpul K2, B5 p-grip, or a BCM GUNFIGHTER: GET IN THE FIGHT grip, they have a steeper angle which means not an acute as angle in your wrist when you're shooting in a modern squared up stance. It's a little more comfortable but desu not a game changer

most uppers are made of 7075 and lowers are usually 6061. Be sure to get a MILSPEC buffer tube, more options.

Here's what happens. You buy an M&P Sport II. Eventually free float the barrel, throw spare parts in a box. Swap the stock and grip, throw old ones in the parts box. Get sick of being bullied/looking at that ugly ass M&P etch, so you buy a new lower. Old lower goes in the box. Get sick of 16" carbine gas, replace it with a better quality mid-length. You know where the old barrel, gas block and gas tube end up. While you're at it, you replace the basic bitch A2 flash hider with a comp or brake, A2 goes into the box. Sick of hearing SPRONG every time you shoot? New spring and buffer. Old ones in the box.

Then one day you pull your head out of your ass and realize you just bought two rifles under the pretense of saving money on just one. And that's not even including poorfag optics that can't be resold because why would anyone buy used when they can buy brand new with a killer warranty for less than $200
