Sounds like you need to trade her in for a different model. The first time I took my wife shooting when we were first dating, she didn't dislike guns, but she wasn't comfortable around them. I made her do all her own weapon manipulations. Charging, reloading, aiming, etc. She couldn't hold my AR up for very long, and she got beat up a bit from my Saiga 12 from holding it wrong at first before I corrected her on it. She never once flagged me or anybody since I constantly reminded her of it every time she brought the gun down.

Take fucking charge and make her carry her own weight. You have to remind her that guns are not toys to play around with, they are fucking deadly and fucking around with one will kill somebody, possibly herself. The first range session should be dead serious until she displays that she is comfortable enough around them to be safe. Once she can safely handle them, then things can lighten up and you can have fun. My wife still can't hold my AR up for all that long (despite it being the lightest rifle I own) and she still has trouble charging my CZ P-01 and her SW Shield, but I know she can be trusted with a gun and that she knows how it functions.

I have no control over my wife's sister, and nobody around her "enabled" anything. I got married before she started any of that bullshit and everybody in her family was completely against it.
