Thats it. Thats all the hype it ever was. Unless you're a slavaboo and like the history, which is cool, there are no reasons to buy one over an AR15 because nowadays they are almost the same price. Sometimes an sks will be even more costly than a new AR which is absurd. Dont fall for the hype unless you want one for historical reasons, or you find a paratrooper with the shorter barrel that takes AK mags for a good because those are cool as fuck.

America isn't the whole world, other countries prohibit ARs and AKs. In canada we can get semi-automatic modified versions for retarded expensive, which require special permits. But with a basic permit we can walk to the auto parts store and buy an SKS for cheap.
