Atlantic Conveyor - Used in the Falklands War to transport extra aircraft that couldn't be stored on the carriers.
It carried 6 Wessex and 6 Chinook helicopters, 14 Harriers along with collapsible fuel tanks and runway matting to create an airfield at the San Carlos landing zone to allow the aircraft it carried to operate with a larger paylad and longer time on target. It was also planned for RAF Phantoms to fly from Ascension island to the falklands so that they could operate from the islands.
Atlantic Conveyor was sunk by a pair of Exocet missiles before it reached the islands.

If I recall correctly that first one was built for clearing mines, this one is "Big Wind", one of the ones used in Kuwait after the Iraqi army set fire to all the oil wells they walked past as part of their "scorched earth"-policy. "Big Wind" supposedly uses two MiG-21 engines mounted to a T34 chassis.
There are "civilian" versions which are essentially jet engines mounted on rail locomotives, they use them to clear the switches of ice by just blasting them with jet engine exhaust. Pretty fucking metal.

That's no fucking test, the system fired and they don't stop until emptied.
I was building custodian (manager) of an Air Force hangar which shall remain nameless that malfunctioned twice while full of F-16s. The foam is light enough to walk through if you know where you are going, but every aircraft has to be taken to the wash rack and hosed down after accidental foam bath.
Foamtard contractors fixed it eventually. BTW if you are around one getting filled, the barrels of foam agent are not HazMat or controlled. They are heavy polyethylene and make terrific outdoor storage containers. The contractors gave me several. I'm nice and shared the rest or my property would be Drumhenge.
Cut the bottom off one as a cap for the other whose top you also slice off. I've left engine parts in them for years with no moisture intrusion, and use some to store animal feed. Cut, rinse, use. You can also get them from soft drink bottling plants. Any /k/ tards wanting to stash supplies should keep an eye out for them.
Example, and cheap enough to buy new if you want.
