I want too man but the CMP is cuck as fuck. IDK when they will have service grades. I live 6 hours away from their store and that alone would be $40 in gas + $40 in sales tax and there is still no guarantee they will have one I will like.

Some of the CMP rifles come with plastic covers to protect the windage/elevation knobs and muzzle. I keep them on. The rifle is a late Korean War Springfield that is pretty common but pretty damn immaculate.
