An excellent and rather heavy all steel gun, perfect for range use.

For everything else, most likely a lighter gun, you can default to a glock like other million people, but the suggestion is always to get a feel of the gun before buy.

There are so much good pistols out there that ergonomics can be a discriminating factor, given that basically any modern pistol made from a known manufacturer will work fine.

CZs are excellent guns. Find me a better metal framed handgun in the $500-600 price range that's as good as it is. They're stupidly low recoil and VERY accurate. And who says CZs arent accurate? Really?

People these days seem to like complaining about how the rail adds unnecessary bulk in the pants but frankly it's never been an issue for me and i like to have the option of slapping a light on a gun, particularly if it might do double duty for CCW and HD.

P01 is nice. Get some springs from Wolff, I use a hammer and recoil spring that are both 2lbs lighter than stock. It reduces the trigger pull and helps with recoil(which is very manageable as is, but it makes it even comfier).

Get a CGW trigger kit if you want to gucci it up, or find an omega version like this anon did >>34915891

CZ "comp" pistols like SP01-whatever-version are garbage unless you practice IPSC.

If you want good accuracy from 25 yards, get a high end 1911. If you want a combat pistol there are tons of polymer striker fired guns out there.
CZ just doesn't fit anywhere here.

the only downside is the trigger curve is very unique so swapping to an 85 combat trigger is a common upgrade

compact makes a nice IWB hybrid holster for it if you carry like that, contact concealment makes an AIWB

just make sure to either replace the base pad on the stock mags or buy a bunch of mags with polymer base plates, the metal base plates are shit and if you drop them you will bend the fuck out of them
