There were very, very few Afrikaans speakers in Rhodesia. Most of the South African citizens there were of English extraction.

Relations between Anglos and Afrikaans were not exactly close and no Afrikaaner would have gone to Rhodesia unless it was necessary. SA had more of a mix, but Rhodesia was an English thing.

Some White Nationalists may tout Rhodesia as some kind of proof of their supremacy, but really Rhodesia was a cooperation between blacks and whites. It didn't matter what color its citizens were since they were equally educated and contributed to the betterment of society and the defense of it.
