I bought a new in box Chinese Tokarev today at a gun show, unfired, still has cosmoline on it. Any idea what it's worth, I don't really have a use for it, I want to resell it
You bought something without knowing it's value?
lol retard
Hopefully no one spoon feeds you
>>34910714
I'll pay $800 for it desu
>>34910726
Seriously?
>>34910766
Honestly it seems like a cool gun and all but I'd rather have the money and it's a pain to get ammo for them. I'd like to try it but that'd devalue it substantially
>>34910772
..Why did you buy it?
>>34910832
Because I'm a dumbass.
>>34910855
That isn't me
>>34910832
>>34910832
Cuz the guy offered to trade it for the crossbow I was trying to get rid of plus $275 so I got rid of something useless in exchange for something I can sell for probably $500+

I like the Tokarev because its such a simple blowback design. Minimal parts to go wrong, crude and effective. Plus the historical part where commissars used it to execute fellow commies. Supposedly penetration and velocity decent despite its diminutive appearance.
So does anyone know what it's worth?
>>34910714
Is it in the original 7.62x25 or is it one of the wierd 9mm ones? IIRC the 9mm ones aren't too desirable since they have problems chambering hollow points or anything that isn't basic military cartridges

A) it's not unfired. there's no way in fuck that that gun has never been fired. it's a way to help sell a gun.
B) cosmoline? on a gun that was manufactured for civilian sell and then exported to the US as soon as it was made? no. cosmoline was used by the military for long term storage. that's just oil, grease, jizz, or a combination.
>>34911026
Where can I buy some of those coupons?
>>34911011
Original 7.62
>>34911054
A.) It's unfired, I looked at the inside of it and there's literally zero wear and the gun and mag are still coated in oil
B.) It's not cosmoline, I was using it as a general term, it's some kind of preservative oil, BTW the OP pic isn't mine, it's off google cuz I'm at work
Really, no one has any kind of price estimate for a new in box Chinese 7.62 Tokarev?
>>34911242
What did you pay for it?
>>34911252
$450
>>34911242
I'll give you $300 for it so at least you turn a profit. $350 if you live in Indiana.
>>34911260
Then I'd say it's worth about $450.
>>34911268
Thanks but no thanks Mr. Goldwitzsteinburg
>>34911260
That's not bad. Not great but not bad. I'd say unfired (and don't fire it) it's an upwards of $600 gun. Give it 2-3 years and it'll probably be $800ish
>>34910714
Where in Orlando do you live bitchboi
>>34910956
its worth whatever someone is willing to give you for it, dumb shit.
>>34910879
> tokarev
> blowback
>>34911379
>it's an upwards of $600 gun. Give it 2-3 years and it'll probably be $800ish
better off buying a case of decent wine and sitting on it for a few years, if we're talking investing for poorfags
>>34910714
I can buy it if u want...I live in Spain so u have to send me the gun in parts xD but I can buy it
Here in Canada we get Norinco Tokarevs and SKS rifles for about $195 USD each
>>34910714
You likely won't get over 500 for it. That's all i've ever seen Norinco Titties actually sell for. They aren't all that desirable, or rare.
>>34911513
You guys have access to the latest Norinco products so values are pretty different for you guys
>>34910879
It's a Browning style short recoil. Makarov is straight blowback.
>>34911084
May be able to trade it for something else, anything you're looking for, or do you need the money for other things?
>>34911402
WTF how did you know I live in Orlando
(Wanna buy it)
>>34911537
Nothing in particular, anything you want to offer up?
