Is the rental for an hour?
The price you quoted comes out at $1.00 per round on a rental gun. The ammo costs roughly $0.33 per round, so the ammo comes out at $10, and the rest of the rental at $20. Quick googling details a gun rental rate of roughly $15 per hour. Unless they sell additional ammo to fill in the rest of the hour at a reduced price, or its a full auto gun, I am disinclined to go along with those prices.

How exactly are the structuring the price? I don't quite understand. Is it $30 per magazine, for every magazine you want to rent? Or is that how much you paid to go out and shoot one magazine? Every range I've been to has a set rental fee for the gun, and then you need to buy their ammo to shoot in it (Usually what they reloaded themselves, and they sell it at factory prices...jews).

That is about right then. they are charging you 10$ for the magazine, $10-15 for the gun rental, and then I'd assume they have someone oversee you to make sure you don't kill yourself or take off with their F/A firearm so then that is the other 5-10 bucks.
