Phoenix has a lot of that. Only draw back is you burst into flame if you go out during the day in the summer.

Las vegas nevada baby. Dont need a permit to own guns. City is mostly alive at night. Alcohol every 2 buildings. Rent isnt too bad and natural environment is miles of desert or mountains + more free outdoor ranges than you could shake a nugget at. Only problem is you cant open carry in casinos so if you have your ccw then youre good and most people are kinda douchy but that depends on what side of town youre in

Currently live in Riverside, CA and was really looking into Vegas or Phoenix. This way if me and the wife want to visit family it's a day trip for us. Me and the wife are into going out every weekend to see shows or drink so Vegas, Austin, Memphis, and Charelston were some of our too options.

If you don't mind high temp. summers but excellent falls/springs and somewhat chilly winters mixed with a desert environment.

Alcohol is cheap, rent is cheap if you avoid the inner city or ritz places like Scottsdale (maybe like Gilbert or Tempe)

Ranges, you got Shooter's World, Ben Avery, Scottsdale Gun Club, I prefer Ben Avery. Also you can shoot outdoors anywhere as long as you adhere to local laws.

TLDR version (i like to tell my friends): Phoenix is basically gun culture and five star restaurants.

When my sister moved to Phoenix my BIL went first because she was taking a summer class. As we were driving in on 10 from the east google diverted us cause there was an accident. It basically took us right through Scottsdale by all the richy rich retirement communities and stuff. No real places to shoot. Only two local out door ranges that are always packed and anything past 100 yards is pretty non existent. Or you can join a gun club. Dont get me wrong it's a great place to live but if I didnt buy land to shoot on I would be pretty fucking annoyed.

Only bad thing about Scottsdale is their red light cameras and their photo enforcement vans in various places (thankfully the city government makes their locations public so people can drive around them).
