I'm planning on getting an israeli gas mask for being prepared to defend myself incase the libtards starts lobbing chlorine gas at random non libtarded civilians but I'm in a bind here.
There is the civilian version which has the circular lens and the voice emitter behind the gas mask and the drinking straw on the right alond with the filter located in the bottom center of the mask.
Then you got the military one that has the triangular lens and the voice emitter is on the front.
I want to know which one is cosmetically and physically better and why. I like the civilian version because it has that stalker look and that creep factor to it.
Also gas mask thread.
Doesn't matter.
Just be sure to get brand new 40mm filters, preferably biological and synthetic toxic combo -protective ones.

asbestos or go home.
accept no substitutes.
>>34890910
I had the civilian one and sold it, the military version is what you want because the filter goes on the cheek and not in front of your face.
Having the filter on the side allows you to aim a rifle, on the civilian version, the big bulky filter will get in the way of this.
>>34890999
The civilian one doesn't interfere that much of your aiming and besides the civilian one is more cooler and less casual looking as the military one.
OP go for the civilian version.
>>34890999
But wouldn't the civilian one be better because you cab aim both left and right while as the military version you can only aim right?
>>34891303
You would think
Does anyone have any experiences with both the mil and civi masks?
>>34890910
I just picked up a civilian, not bad, and will do the job. The drinking straw access inside the mask is a little tough to get at, but that's the only complaint.
>>34890999
As that anon said, the filter in the front can complicate things, but I don't think it's bad enough to spend 40 extra dollars unless you want the luxury.
You can still aim most rifles just fine. Especially if you have an actual sight instead of irons.
>>34891727
So which one would be better in the long run?
>>34890999
>>34891727
The military one still puts the filter in front of your face.
>>34891753
I guess it depends on how high speed you intend to get once the chlorine bombs start falling.
>>34891774
So if i go with civilian version due to low price how much would it do pro vs con compared to me paying large sums of money for the military version?
>>34890910
Eight SECONDS!!
i don't recommend buying an israeli gas mask as the space where the nose goes is too large and fails to create a reliable seal
>>34890910
Can't wait for the neo Nazis to gas you for being a shithead. I've yet to see reports of liberals attempting to kill protestors.
This might help but I recommend getting an actual gas mask.
>>34890910
Just get an industrial gas mask.
where to buy filters
>>34892839
Swinging a metal bike lock at someone's head is pretty attempted murdery
>>34892927
When and where did this occur?
I've seen scuffles in videos, usually instigated by the skinheads.

>>34892837
>>34892940
It was during the Berkeley protests, violent protests have been headed by antifa and BLM for a good 4-5 months previous to Donald Trump winning the elections.
No need to be revisionist, skinheads and neonazis are fucking retarded but the turboleft have been at this shit for a while.
I have a czech m10 and its not too bad for how cheap it was. should be useful against antifa.
>>34892948
Thanks. Much as I hate Trump, if that dude started the fight, he's a piece of shit for it.
Oh look a topic about something I know...
>>34893046
Lackland?
>>34893054
No, actually manage non training gear not the reject gear that gets sent to Lackland to be worn by trainees.
I bought a GP5 with a filter and case.
Also, I had an isreali mask for 5 years, I used to wear it in combination with a sauna suit in order to lose more water weight.
It got torn up,t I still have it, I have sewn it back together, and used super glue to seal it, I plan to make it better.
>>34893083
Losing water weight isn't a thing Anon. You need water. You lose weight by cutting calories and increasing exercise.
>>34893046
How many of those masks do you "lose" each year?
>>34893117
No, I needed to lose water weight for weigh-ins, I was a boxer.
At least, that's what my coach told me, I just believed him.
>>34893170
Dozens... the best part is we constantly find missing ones during inventory, mostly due to people not doing paperwork right, and constantly have an influx of ones that aren't accounted for, sadly they don't negate eachother due to them being serialized.
>>34890910
What >>34890974 said
You want the asbestos ones. They work a lot better and are often cheaper.

and get the 3m filters rated for tear gas and other bio shit
>>34893321
That was a bad guy politician that died, not a protester.
so what are the recommended gas masks; is there an infograph?
Okay kunts whats the verdict?
Civie hew gas mask or mil jew gas mask?
>>34896835
>jew
REEEEEEEEE
>>34896835
Go civvie, because it is cheaper. As far as I know, the only pro for mil would be the filter being on the side, which isn't worth a price increase.
>>34897162
THANK YOU!!!
>>34890910
The trick is, you gotta pretend to be psycho mantis
By the way which place is the best place to order the civilian jew mask from?
>>34897328
i get them from ebay, after looking enough you can find them with atropine injectors.
>>34890910
I kept mine from the navy. Looks cute hanging on the wall
>>34893183
He's right, water weight is literally water in your body
So if you're off weight by 2lbs then temporarily dehydrating yourself will let you get that weight
The weight doesn't stay off, it's a temporary fix, also fucks your kidneys
>>34897340
Not to sound like a dumbass but what is atropine injectors?
>>34897599
Nevermind just looked it up.

Both the 4a1 (civilian) and the M15 (Military) masks are good, just bear in mind both take a front/bottom loading filter, a left side loading filter is ideal.

Do NATO filters work for the gp5? I'd not where can I get some filters for it, I only have one and it's been opened for months
>>34902057
They will fit the threading. I wouldn't trust how secure it is in regards to actual NBC stuff, but it will fit. I use the plugs and caps from GP-5 filters for the NATO filters I have sitting out opened. Can confirm their threading will fit NATO.
>>34902046
i'm glad your crotch can breathe easy
>>34902057
No.
They are both 40mm but the thread pitch and profile is different.
>>34902109
So where could I find extra filters for it? I've googled and I've found some on eBay, but I'm pretty skeptical about it.
>>34902208
Any commercial 40mm GOST standard filter will work. Can get them from Russian safety supply companies.
>>34902046
u know it bb <3
>buy this 80 year old serbian slavshit surplus
>no buy this civilian jew one on amazon
why argue about shit that may poison you or not work when you can just buy a proper mask and filters at home depot?
>>34892900
Good luck aiming a rifle
>>34897431
Yeah I know.
I did it before weigh-ins when we I was on the high end of the weight range and we weren't sure of the official scales.
