Couldn't find knife general.
Ebay dealer accepted return on my bent used kabar I paid forty dollars for. Should I return it , try to bend it back , or just live with this slight bend? How likely is it the integrity of knife is damaged and does it damage blade more to bend it back?

well forty dollars for a ka bar isnt bad. honestly the bend will have no noticeable effect. do not try to baton with a ka bar. this is a "fighting"/utility knife

You won't mess it up by bending it back but if you do, do it slowly so you don't go too far in the other direction
You can send it back and get an Ontario sp1 for about $35 or get a buck short nighthawk for about $55. Its completely different but a real do it all knife, its small enough to not be obnoxious when you carry it but its big enough and tough enough to handle everything you throw at it.

You post this already return it and spend the extra money for a new one poor anon.

send it back and spend the extra 30 on a new one. it is a good knife and stands up to abuse but you don't know how badly this was abused.
Was the bend far worse and it has already been "bent back"?
you might be able to bend it back as >>34885538 says, or you might snap it in the process and then you are for sure out the 40 bucks.
at least if you fuck up a new one you know you did something stupid and not the last guy.
I agree not to baton with a ka-bar sort of, don't baton anything too big but I make kindling with mine all the time with no problem. Just shave off the top of the cross guard and choke up on on it a bit with a secure but loose grip.
