I've got around a grand I'm willing to spend on a new gun, or guns. What're some fun things to shoot? I've got no real preferences, and I'm taking suggestions for pretty much anything. Dumping pics in the meantime.

What do you already own?
What do you want to do with it?
How many dicks can fit up your ass?

Mosin, maverick-88. Two poorfag guns. They're the most basic things you can get pretty much.
Shoot it, duh. Mostly take it to the range, punch holes in paper targets, that sort of thing.
A lot.

Used slr, USP, or build a nice AR. You could probably pull getting a police trade in USP40 and an AR build.

You know I think I've seen one of these at my LGS. I totally didn't recognize it, the action is crazy looking with the lever fully extended but I think they're the same gun. What's that thing actually called?

Winchester Model 1895. The ruskie empire commissioned a fuckload of them, back when it was still around.

M1 Garand from the CMP.
Super fun to shoot (PING!), its a piece of WWII history, ammunition is still affordable and plentiful and the value of the gun is almost certain to go up from what you play the CMP.
Get yourself a ported gas plug so you can shoot modern .30-06 as well as M1 Ball.

I'm gonna have to go back and look at it again then soon. If I remember correctly, it was a little pricey, but a pretty unique piece.

Shit, that's pretty tempting. It's a shame the CMP's stock of M1 carbines is pretty much nonexistent.
