The Primary Arms has the advantage in that it takes ACOG mounts and argue ably has the better reticule, but vortex has a lifetime warranty, and that alone is almost worth buying it.

Also yeah it's pretty sturdy. My one and only complaint is that over time, the foam began to split on the end towards the rear of the stock. I remedied that by just duct taping around a few layers to keep it from continuing down the roam insert.
