Shoulder holsters are very comfy and have a lot of style, but I don't understand the appeal of a horizontal shoulder holster. Vertical models, like the Galco VHS, make more sense IMO, since they hide the gun better (guns are usually longer than high). I also feel that vertical models are more secure since the vertical position makes grabbing the gun more difficult for an opponent. Or am I missing something.

From my research they are decent except the plastic X thingy holding the straps together is the weakest link comfort-wise. Most people recommend getting a custom one with a large leather X peice if you are going to wear it a lot.

That argument hinges on people ND'ing constantly on the draw. I don't shoot myself all the time so AIWB and shoulder holsters aren't an issue.

horizontal looks badass and you draw faster. not as fast as from the hip but faster than vertical shoulder holster. that said horizontal prints like a mofo unless youve got small guns and if you had small guns youd pocket carry that shit not use a shoulder holster.

There's a company that still sells these but they're nylon-based instead of leather. If I could find an original leather one I'd shit out my dick. Would compliment my Chrome plated Cobray well.

You can also replace the magazine holster with another MAC holster, giving you two MACS like Chuck Norris.
