Buy civilian hiking boots as they are infinitely better made and will not destroy your feet. I have no idea why anyone would ever want surplus footwear.

Bates are garbage and last about 6 months before you need to replace them.

Belleville probably makes some black leather/nylon combat boots. Belleville makes good shit.
