imho it'd be effective IF it can activate reliably and not pop out randomly while you're working, driving, petting your dog, etc. Achieving both seems difficult.

as an alternative you could strap an SOCP to your wrist. Use the finger ring to draw while you're doing your sneaky stuff. Paint it to blend in with your skin, clothing, or wrist watch.
