HOW THE FUCK DOES #7 WORK
I've seen this image pop up as a meme in a few threads and while hilarious and convoluted, I can figure out how all these work except 7. Is it belt fed? Is it like a paintball hopper? I cant fucking figure it out.
Maybe its a pneumatic system. Pump a gas or liquid in magazine. The pouch full of rounds will get squeezed to the top. My best guess.

Looks like some sort of very stretched out rubber band type system for forcing cartridges out.
The artist saw a box for a belt, and just forgot about the belt bit?
I want #12
>>34821622
I could see 4 becoming a thing
>>34821705
It looks like a paintball hopper since the other ones are so meme
>>34821666
Huh thats an angle I hadn't considered...except it still doesn't make any sense.
>>34821695
But if its belt fed, why constrict it at the top like that? Also, the other fucktarded things are really detailed so I don't think they just forgot to draw in the links or whatever.
>>34821718
#4 is actually a thing. Quad stacked or casket is what its called.

>>34821666
maybe it's a gravity fed box it's just upside down
>>34821746
Does a reliable one exist yet?

>>34821724
Yeah paintball hopper was the only retarded answer I had for a while EXCEPT I HAVE A THEORY NOW.
The inner thing the bullets are resting on is some kind of bag, its kept tight by some winding mechanism. As you fire, it constricts and pushes more bullets up.
>>34821822
Surefire uses the same system in their AR15 mags if I remember right.
>>34821622
pretty sure #7 is just meant to be a tensioned belt into which bullets are pressed.
What the fuck is going on with 11, though?
>>34821824
I see that's what they were going for but it sounds like a recipe for jams.
the fuck is going on with #9
>>34821833
Look, I'm not saying any of these are GOOD, its just that I couldn't figure out a way it worked that made any sense.
>>34821831
You figured it out same time as me heh.
11 has some weird stacking going on. I dont understand why they alternate directions

50 pound gun/shield/mag combo
>>34821864
Is it just a fuckhuge revolver?
>>34821622
#5 has been used in magazines before. It's a constant force spring.
>>34821622
It looks like a rubber bag

I don't think that's a bag, it's probably a coil spring
>>34821824
not a bag, it's a constant force spring

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. Mystery solved.

Holly shit /k/ is very stupid if you can look at this and have no idea how it works.
I do however think it would not work. You'd either get rounds pinching at the top as it tries to push 2 rounds at once up to the feed lips or if it did work you might end up with a few rounds at the end because I doubt you could get it to be fully tight at an empty mag so you'll lose a few rounds for that volume of ammo in a mag fed weapon. Would only work with pistol caliber or non necked rimless rifle rounds for obvious reasons.
Number 12 is the Hulk Hands of the gun world.

or flechette
>>34823298
I'm not sure what a flechette rifle is but if it's anything like the shotgun, they're hot wet garbage.

Gravity fed?
