Hey /k/, found pic related while doing a basement renovation. Can anyone identify the caliber? I was thinking maybe .17 Mach 2, but I haven't seen any Tim fire cartridges other than .17 wmr and .22 lr in person. It's stamped super x. Also, clearly just a blank, but does the yellow tip mean anything else?

Yo nigga! Dat is one dem taser bullets. I hear dey work sorta like dem purple paralyzers!
Interesting. Does anyone still build nail guns that use blanks or is it completely phased out? My nailguns use those little gas canisters, I guess I'm too young to remember this style.

Seems like.
It's the way the head is crimped. Blanks use crimped heads to contain the powder instead of a bullet. Seeing this one intact suggests it's still good.

They're still used for driving nails into hard surfaces like cement.

Lets say you had a single shot 22 and bbs or something and time could you make these shoot?

Some guy managed to make it work with lead .22 pellets in a .22 rifle. Not very good accuracy, extraction, feeding, or on-target effect, but it worked.

Yes, just leave room for the crimp to expand
I was able to cycle these in an old tubefed remington speedmaster, was fun firing a shitton of blanks at my buddies

I used to shoot off. 22lr by just putting it on the end of my bb gun barrel when I was younger and more stupid. So I don't see why not.

i was in atlanta the other week and i was walking around some construction areas and they had clips of those things lying around the ground
Does anyone have the greentext about hunting squirrels with a ramset?
