That sounds fucking awful. 5.56 already overpens like a motherfucker on people, to the point you're basically just dumping rounds in center mass hoping for a rib or spine hit because the fragmentation is awesome. But give it more penetration and take away the fragmentation? Might as well tell the Chinese to learn English, because mean words are going to be more effective than that round.

I guess this is what you get when you let a military who hasn't seen real fighting in over fifty years decide what makes an effective weapon.
