I count 10 aces (at least 5 kills) glancing at the VPAF list of kills.

There are reasons for this: the VPAF flew in a target rich environment, were carefully vectored in by GCI, usually hit and run, and did not have 'tours of duty' they usually kept flying until they died or were promoted to flight instructors.
Most US air-crews never even saw a MiG, let alone shot one down. The VPAF being almost always outnumbered 6 to 1 were guaranteed a kills every 10 missions or so.

Some VPAF pilots racked up over 600 missions iirc.
