if i were the lawyer i would find some proofs that the robber was very against killing others and appreciated the life above everything else so he would never kill anybody (it's if he had some record of doing violent stuff) or that he was a very meek person who couldn't even use his gun and never harmed even a butterfly, also helped caterpillars to cross the street (if he didn't have such a record)

In most states that wouldnt matter.

Having a gun while committing most felonies allows people to make the reasonable assumption that the robber poses a deadly threat. The issue is what the law assumes a reasonable and prudent man would assume.
As this Reasonable and Prudent man would have no way of knowing what was in the robber heart, only that he had a deadly weapon and was threatening to use it, that is sufficient cause to use deadly force.

Sounds like the Ferguson riots, a guy robbed a store with a gun and then drew it vs cops and everyone said things like "he was a good boy with a big heart he didn't do nothing"

Probably fine. Reasonable person would consider the robber to be an imminent threat.

Probably second degree murder charge. The calmness and presence of mind to try that one implies that you're not fearing for your life, and are instead using the situation to get away with murder.

It's why you can shoot a guy five times while they're standing, but the sixth one canoeing his forehead when he's down gets you the murder charge.

Depends on a lot of factors. Getting charged criminally is up to the DA. Then actually being convicted is up to a jury of fucking randos. If the robber has litigious survivors, expect a civil suit for damages.

You'd only be charged if he's black
