Get a 19. 26 offers no advantages to concealability since it's the same thickness. I would recommend a 43 before either of them for EDC (if you're stuck on getting a Glock)

The grip is what will be noticeable not the slide. The slide is going to be in your waist band so what you need to consider is which is more comfortable to you and which is easier to conceal, the compact 19 grip or subcompact 26 grip. Go to a shop and ask to compare both, see if they'll let you try both in a holster to make a decision.

You can always put g19 mags in a g26 and essentially turn it into a g19. The only disadvantage to this is no rail, and slightly wonkier reloads. For CCW the difference is sight radius, recoil and velocity is negligable.
