There are so many reasons why shooting is the best hobby.
>largest purchases retain value even decades later (guns)
>smallest purchases retain value even decades later (ammo)
>medium purchases (slings, lead sleds etc) don't retain value but that's okay too
>basically unlimited skill ceiling
>good excuse to go camping
>can bring in steady food supplement if you're poor
>young people, old people, women, children can all compete very well but still male-centric hobby
>no black people at all because they can't legally own guns because they all have felony records
